$34.5 Million Settlement Against DaVita

Whistleblower Partners attorneys represented the whistleblower in a $34.5 million False Claims Act settlement against international dialysis company DaVita in which the government intervened and settled three novel kickback claims. The whistleblower alleged DaVita engaged in different kickback schemes relating to its pharmacy business, its vascular access center business, and medical directorships at dialysis centers. The whistleblower received a Relator’s share of roughly $6.4 million.
